Sea Shells on the Beach in Peru
by David and Lin Schneider
Sea Shell starting to learn a little
With the La NiƱa weather pattern this year, it seems to have cause a lack of waves from the north and sand has remained covering the rocks, so sea glass is hard to find. So we pick up other things like driftwood and sea shells on the beach. We finally started laying out the shells we had picked up over time the other day. Wow! We had no idea we had such a variety of sea shells. We started looking up shells and identification since we know nothing about conchology (study of shells). Really interesting as you can see from the photos of a few of our finds. |
