Miraflores, Lima - February 2012 Peru Photo Contest

This photo was taken in Lima during a backpacking trip through South America early last December.

Lima was the destination after an extremely long bus ride all the way from Bogotá.

Very different with its climate, the ocean and the area we stayed in. Miraflores, or as my boyfriend called it with all its big and expensive apartment buildings and hotels along the beach, "Miami".

With an almost clear sky there was a great view of the ocean from the cliffs on this warm evening and a really calm and safe atmosphere.

The camera I used is a very simple and automatic one Casio EX-Z330, which sometimes strengthens the colors and lives its own life, nothing professional.
