Looking through Machu PIcchu - July 2011 Peru Photo Contest

This photo was taken at Machu Picchu, Aguas Calientes on an overcast afternoon.

I was mesmerized by the energy of the site...

The site is over 95% preserved in its original state, every rock in its place.

I used a Canon Rebel XS with a standard EF-S 18-55mm lensfor this photograph.

My tip for other photographers? Fix your exposure before taking your pictures!
