Los Organos, Peru is a tranquil beach town in a zone best described as "tropical desert beach.". The "winter" months correspond to the summer months in the northern hemisphere. From July through September the weather is like Southern California summer without the beach fog and sunny 95% of the time.

From October through June it can get quite hot and at least a fan is necessary for good night's sleep. Swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, kite surfing, surfing, fishing, and more are, of course, wonderful during the "summer" or "temporada" here.
