Can I purchase a pet in Peru?

Yes you can purchase pets in Peru, mainly what you would find in a pet shop in your country.

However, if you buy a pet that is not a cat or a dog and don't do it through a pet shop, it is probably illegal. And, you won't be able to bring any animal back to your home country without going through a lot of paperwork and probably denying you the permission.
